Exhibition - “Nous les Vagues” at Le MAT

Alioune Diouf is part of the collective exhibition “Nous les Vagues” at Le MAT - Centre d’art contemporain du Pays d’Ancenis, on view from June 15 to October 6, 2024. The presented works were realised during his residency at Maison Julien Gracq (a collaboration with Le MAT), including several works on paper and a collective work, “Yeux et épis de Loire disposés en jeux de fond”, made together with artists Olive Martin and Patrick Bernier using techniques of weaving, couture cotton warp, hand-spun cotton weft from the Siné Saloum in Senegal.

The exhibition is curated by Antoine Dalègre, Matthieu Duperrex and Isabelle Tellier.
