Film competition - STLOUIS’DOCS 2024, International documentary film festival

We are pleased to announce that Mbaye Diop’s film “Colobane” (2020) is part of the official selection at the International documentary film festival STLOUIS’DOCS 2024, held from April 30th until May 4th, 2024. In this film, Mbaye Diop captures the essence of the Colobane Market, the hustle and bustle of its people, the energy and liveliness of its frenetic exchanges. “Colobane” is an animated film made from 5,000 sheets of drawings produced by transferring photographs onto paper using acetone.
